Been a lot goin’ lately and I’m trying to play catch up…
First:
The Snoloha Fan Name poll has been fun. There were close to 30 different ideas, but when all was said and done “Drifters” ended up with 53% off the votes and SnolohaNuts with 36%.
I like both names. I like the idea behind “Drifters” – There are sand drifts, snow drifts, and we (Snoloha fans) drift to any and everywhere we can enjoy our lives “somewhere between the Islands and the Arctic”. And I really like the idea of the SnolohaNuts logo as a cross between an acorn and a coconut-a cococorn. So now, time to figure out how to utilize this…
Second:
There are 4 new designs going to print:
- Moonlighting
- Living on Snoloha Time – Beachfire
- Living on Snoloha Time – Therapy
- Great Lakes State
I’m finalizing the samples and colors this week, then I’ll put all 4 up for a pre-order special.
Third:
I’ve been working with Capt Dave over at Bay Breeze Yacht Charters and Sailing School on what I think is a very cool and exciting new endeavor that complements each of our businesses nicely. Stay tuned for more on this.
Fourth:
We are prepping for our big Spring / Summer fulfillment. Things always get a little hectic during this period…screenprinting, embroidery, hang tags, neck labels, name drops, folding, labeling, packaging and shipping.
Fifth:
We’ve got one more tradeshow to prepare for in April to capitalize on last minute Summer orders.
There’s a partial list…I realize as I’m putting this together that I’m not caught up yet and need to finish this blog and get back to my To Do list.
