It’s good to have days like this.
A drive through Leelanau County on a sunny, 65 degree day in April in order to visit retailers in the funky resort towns that dot the Lake Michigan / Leelanau Peninsula shoreline.
It’s a reminder of why I love living here and how Snoloha’s escapism mentality & lifestyle resonates with folks not only vacationing in our neck of the woods, but all across the globe for that matter…as a way to escape the realities of everyday life and to kick back and enjoy it for a bit.
If you’ve never visited this part of the world…you should think about it. It is nothing like you imagine when you think “Michigan”.
Trust me.
