Once again, “Snoloha at Cheeseburger in Paradise.” Yep…that sounds just about right.

Here’s a pic of Tim from Tawas City (Michigan) sporting his Snoloha fleece jacket and enjoying an Island Ale (yep…that sounds about right as well) with his friend Scott “Purveyor of Paradise” during his recent trip to the Bloomington (Indiana) Cheeseburger in Paradise location.

Tim has a special connection with that particular place on this planet and I’m humbled to know that he thought enough to include Snoloha during this most recent journey.

For 2 months in a row now, the Snapshots & Scenery winning photo does not highlight any Snoloha gear or any type of Snoloha lifestyle.

This is pretty cool….Snoloha on Christopher’s phone. That is the GOGGLES design, and notice the wireless network name, “sNoLoHa.”

The first monthly Snapshots & Scenery winner for 2010, the month of January is….Seattle Dave.

Seattle Dave has been a loyal Snoloha fan, customer, supporter and ambassador since the MSN article ran back in 2007. Since then he has outfitted his entire family with gear and continues to spread the Snoloha love in the great northwest.

This photo is a bit unique though, as it doesn’t include any Snoloha gear nor is it a lifestyle shot. In his own words from the email he sent “I came out to my little lighthouse office and found that my 6 year old had made a little art project out of my white board. She’s a fan, too, I guess.” Yes, Dave has an office in the shape of a lighthouse.

This made me realize a few things:

I desperately need to focus on getting more kids gear in the website. For some reason it’s on the To Do list, but never gets done.

I need a lighthouse shaped office.

Maybe Dave’s daughter should be the winner? I mean she’s the one that did the work. All Dave had to do was take the picture and send the email!

And, it also occurred to me that a victim of my Snapshots & Scenery slacking last year was Dave’s lovely wife. I owe her a Snoloha tank top. So Dave, you’ve got a couple Snoloha items coming your way (tell Genie I’m sorry for being a slacker).

As we settle into and get comfy with 2010, I thought it was important to continue my “accountability” kick that I’m on this year.

When I first launched Snoloha, I did a great job at regularly promoting and choosing a monthly Snapshots & Scenery winner.

Quick reminder…Snapshots & Scenery is a fancy way to say Photo Contest, and each month the winner gets FREE gear by sharing their Snoloha photos. These photos may include Snoloha gear, of course…or they can simply be of the Snoloha lifestyle that you enjoy.

Last year I did a terrible job at keeping up with this contest. I focused so much of my energy on re-branding, new designs and new products for 2010 that I simply dropped the “Snapshots & Scenery” ball.

Not this year…So get your photos to me by the end of the month for a chance to win.

This photo got me thinking about another shot Rob had sent in, so I went to the archives and found this one of him in his Snoloha gear while enjoying a beer and skiing in Big Sky. I think Rob has a problem…a skiing problem.

A big thanks to Capt Dave for the great Snoloha shots from their holiday trip to NYC. Dave made sure to get his lovely wife Kristen and sister-in-law Jamie sporting his Snoloha Sailor Beanie….and boy do they make that hat look much better than Dave does!

I got a kick out this photo. That’s the back of Gumbo Ron’s vehicle, and those are Snoloha stickers in each corner.

Gumbo Ron has been playing Trop Rock music for years. While living in Belize ,on the island of Caye Caulker, he wrote many songs about his “Belizean” experiences… yeah, lot of “drinkin’ songs” but hey, we all love drinking songs, right? A CD, “What We Belize In”, was the result. His most recent CD, “Tequila Tonight, Tomorrow We Ride!”, is definitely for the Jimmy Buffett-Parrothead inclined. However it will also be enjoyed by anyone who likes easy-listening “folk rock”…only with a tropical theme.

I was going thru a bunch of Snoloha photos recently and noticed Captain Dave from Bay Breeze Yacht Charters wears his Snoloha gear proudly so I thought I’d highlight some of them here.

I wonder though, why does Dave always ask “Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking? “ (okay, so that’s a Zoolander quote)

I have a feeling that Dave doesn’t take his male modeling job with Snoloha very seriously.
