There’s more to Boyne Mountain than snowboarding!

It’s true.  I finally found out for myself.  After twenty years of going to ‘the Mountain’ snowboarding, I spent the entire weekend there without my board.

My wife and I dropped the little one off and ‘Grammy and Pappa’s’ house and headed to Boyne Mountain for a little R&R.  We snowshoed, ate, hot-tubbed, went on a horse drawn carriage ride, drank, sat in the sun, watched the ducks, walked the property, shopped and just escaped into a northern Michigan ‘Pine Tree Paradise’.

It was pure Living on Snoloha Time.

Of course next weekend I’ll be LOST at Boyne once again, but this time with the snowboard.

These short breaks from the realities of everyday life are important.  If I were some sort of ‘Escapism Doctor” I’d prescribe them.  They are healthy.

Go ahead…and enjoy being LOST.
