It’s been a while since I’ve posted a behind the scenes look at what’s happening here in the world of Snoloha. Well, I have a debate going on inside my head. Scary, I know. But this one won’t send you screaming and thinking that I’m a complete nut job. On second thought, it just might.

With this economic meltdown and the “sky is falling” news coverage, part of me feels like this is the time when opportunity will present itself.

Here’s the deal…for those of you that don’t know, Snoloha (the business) is located in Traverse City, Michigan, a beautiful beach side tourist destination in Michigan’s northwest lower peninsula. If you’ve never been here, it’s hard to imagine the turquoise blue waters and towering sand dunes that make up the Lake Michigan shoreline. If you have been here, you know that it’s hard to leave and exciting to come back.

Downtown Traverse City is a unique mix of eateries, pubs and retail. During the summer months it is packed with tourists spending those vacation dollars, those “fun tickets” as Buffett would say. In the winter, well it’s a bit quieter up here.

Now, there is some really cool retail space available. And I’ve began debating whether or not a Snoloha retail store is a good idea. I can argue and justify both sides. One day, it makes perfect sense, and the next I’m just not sure if that’s the path I want to take. I can’t seem to come to a conclusion. So if any of you feel so inclined, I’d love to hear your feedback. Visit the contact page and shoot me your thoughts.
