Meet the Snoloha Crew
Rod Call
Yes, he's the one wearing the Snoloha hoodie. Rod is the self proclaimed "Purveyor & Explorer of the Snoloha Lifestyle"...he's still not sure what "Purveyor" even means. If you're not familiar with Rod's story behind the brand, you can read it here...his bio will be posted soon.
Sarah Deziel
I was drawn to the concept of Snoloha immediately. Snow & Aloha, winter & summer, water and waves, mountains and oceans, chasing adventure and new experiences, and stopping to enjoy where you happen to be at the moment. The energy surrounding this brand is contagious, in a great way. Who doesn't love the aloha vibe and spirit, and the islands, or a great powder day? I am a Minnesota girl who loves to travel, anywhere. I lived steps from the beach in Santa Cruz, CA for a couple of years where I loved watching the sun go down from the beach, or out on a surfboard. Before there I lived in Crested Butte, CO and Seattle, WA. Now I am thrilled to be enjoying the Minnesota lake, yes even in the winter! I've worked in the retail industry for years, as a sales rep and also in shops and am so excited to now be spreading the Snoloha vibe. It's a good one.
Dave Markwell aka "Seattle Dave"
I'm Dave Markwell, part-time Realtor, full-time Snoloha lover !!! I live in Des Moines, Wa, a neat little water town half-way between Seattle and Tacoma. I am married to a beautiful, remarkable, patient woman. We have two young, busy, mouthy kids. My interests include, but are not limited to, whatever makes me smile. My dream day: wakeboarding in Hawaii while listening to Buffett and Springsteen with a cold, properly limed Corona in my hand as my kids toast marshmallows and make snowballs while my wife heads to the buffet, again, with a huge smile on her face. I climb in the boat with my buddies, grab my pole and a fresh beer, and promptly catch a 30 lb. King salmon as we pull up limits of Dungeness crab from our pots on the way to chairlift for our road trip through the Caribbean coast of Mexico. Hey, it's my dream, don't judge !!!
Joe Gabry
In addition to designing unique t shirt designs for SnoLoha, Joseph Gabry is a designer at Warrior Sports (www.warriorsports.com). Joe designs and develops a wide range of products, from footwear, to lacrosse and hockey equipment, and graphics. He also enjoys testing helmets on occasion. Each day at Warrior presents something new and challenging, packed with non-stop action and excitement from start to finish, making it one of the most fun, unbelievable, head spinning jobs ever. Prior to Warrior Sports, Joe worked for EVIEW 360 a design-consulting firm in Farmington, MI, and graduated from The Ohio State University in 2001. Because of his experience he has gained a wide variety of freelance clients, from the local brewery and coffee shop, to doctors, and of course, Snoloha.
"The idea, the inspiration behind SnoLoha is what I love about the company. The thought that raced through Rod's head when he saw that 45th parallel sign, and the balls he had to follow through with that dream... I asked Rod once what made him decide to actually take the leap, and I think I heard Rod say something similar to this, 'if you do something you love, then it's not work.' That is why I am a designer, that is why I appreciate SnoLoha, the lifestyle, and the products."
Joe lives in Royal Oak, MI with his spoiled dog, Jack, and is excited to announce that he will marry the woman of his dreams, Kelly in May of 2008.
His hobbies include, but are not limited to... climbing tall trees, having his appendix taken out, watching Justin Verlander throw a no hitter from his seats at Comerica Park, dominating some beer league hockey with his Swamp Donkey teammates, traveling to China, attending live music shows that are entertaining, striving for last place every week with his Head Bangin' Billy Goat bowling league teammates, and skiing in waist deep fluffy light powder in Alta, UT.
Joe also enjoys, finding new clients for which to utilize his design skills. So, check him out at www.jgabry.com.

Being desperate for attention, I searched the internet for someone willing to put my ?ug on their site...and then I found Rod! In the process, I also found Snoloha. The two tag lines read, ?arrying a vacation mentality through everyday life and ?omewhere between the islands and the arctic? I knew being part of Snoloha meant a lot of vacation time!
I first approached Rod with the idea of me being the Snoloha corporate model (see picture!) but Rod thought a Mascot was more in order. So you need a sales rep, I then asked.
Before Snoloha, my dreams were looking forward to summertime walks, learning to read all over again, and owning as many Adirondack chairs as I could. But now my passion is this incredible brand. My goal is to help Rod and his team in any way that I can.
Born and raised in the south (Georgia), I join the Navy (they had good rates on cruises) after high school. After that, I have spent the last 10 years in and around corporate retail working at The Home Depot in their corporate buying office and then a consumer products manufacturer. I started an e-commerce company called www.bethefan.com but continue to find myself spreading the word of Snoloha more and more. It's not hard to exist in the tangible world. But it is hard to find that right mentality?nd Snoloha is that right mentality!
