Start planning your summer

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

It’s not too early to make a few summer plans. And if you’ve had thoughts of giving sailing a try, or even if you’re an experienced sailor, Capt. Dave has put together sailing courses for all skill levels. Check ‘em out, and be sure to contact Dave with any questions you may have…or if you’re just feeling lonely and want someone to talk to, that would be okay to, and pretty funny.

Solstice Sailing Company

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

Welcome aboard, Solstice Sailing Company. The latest addition to the Snoloha family. Solstice Sailing offers Great Lakes & Caribbean Charters, along with an ASA Certified Sailing School.

Dave Conrad, owner and chief wrench-turner at Solstice Sailing, has been sailing the Great Lakes, Caribbean, Gulf Coast and beyond for about 20 years. For more information on Capt. Dave, read his story.

So what’s with the Snoloha branding?

It’s simple…think Eddie Bauer & Ford Explorer, Tommy Bahama & Beneteau, Harley Davidson & Ford F-150, Coach & Lexus, and the list goes on. It’s “co-branding”, and the purpose is to combine the strengths of two brands.

The Snoloha audience is very similar to that of Capt. Dave’s. So we figured it made sense to work together and deliver and promote a lifestyle that both of our customers live…or want to live.

The website still needs some finishing touches and more content, but you can get a feel and idea of what’s available. And feel free to contact Capt. Dave with any questions and/or comments.
