Yes, Snoloha utilizes all the cool new online social networking sites. However, there’s a bit of an ironic juggling act that happens on a daily basis. The escapism mentality of the Snoloha brand says ‘turn if all off and disconnect’ and fully enjoy the moment without ‘checking in’ or Tweeting. But at the same time, Snoloha asks for your feedback, ‘likes’, follows and photos in order to grow online. Hypocritical? You bet. But oh well.
So if you are feeling social, here’s how you can connect with Snoloha and how each is used (this is a link to the orignal blog post regarding this list):
TUMBLR.
I have a large library (and it continues to grow) of photos and feedback, which I call “Snapshots, Scenery, Sayings and Sound Bites”. I’ve been trying to figure out a good way to share these moving forward, but not clog up the blog, Facebook and Twitter…so I’ve decided to use Tumblr. Check it out. I’m diggin’ it. I’m just getting started, and will be sure to include links to updates.
FACEBOOK.
I try and be diverse in my Facebook for Snoloha use. I do use it for promotion, but I also give away product, run contests, post photos, share new designs, ask for feedback and link to relevant Snoloha news.
TWITTER.
I primarily use Twitter to follow other brands. I don’t have many ‘customers’ on Twitter. There are some, but most of my customers are not the Twitter types. Heck, I’m not the Twitter type…I’m forced into this relationship.
LINKEDIN.
I like LinkedIn for connecting with potential retailers, sales reps, licensing industry folks, etc. I definitely use it as it’s intended use of a more professional networking channel.
GOOGLE+
Do you seriously think I’m using Google+?!! Well…I am. OK…I created an account a while ago, but I’ve not really used it much. From what I understand they have not rolled out a Google+ for businesses yet. In the meantime…here I am.
EMAIL.
Yes, I still send out good ole emails. But I don’t over do it. Once a month, if you’re lucky. For the most part, the emails consist of some sort of sale or contest..or perhaps something newsworthy. It’s pretty straight forward. You can subscribe here.
